We learned that Alibaba's Qwen will be integrated into Apple Intelligence as part of its AI capabilities for users in China. The integration will bring Qwen-powered AI features to Chinese users across iOS, iPadOS, macOS and visionOS, allowing them to access text and image understanding, content generation and other AI functions directly on Apple devices without switching between apps. Today, China's cyberspace regulator published filing information for seven mobile on-device generative AI services, including Apple Intelligence, Huawei's Xiaoyi large model, and OPPO's AndesGPT.
